Current public-site position
- The main public website is not intended to set non-essential analytics cookies during normal browsing
- Certain limited marketing landing pages, typically reached through ads, may load Meta Pixel for campaign measurement
- Website traffic measurement described in the privacy policy is based mainly on server-side request logs and headers
- These marketing landing pages are separate from the main browsing experience and are not normally accessed except through ads or direct campaign links
- If authenticated app features or browser-side preferences later require cookies or local storage, this page should be updated
What we do track
sepia.live may still record server-side request metadata such as IP address, user-agent, referrer, host, requested path, timestamps, response status, and related infrastructure or security log information. This is not the same as placing analytics cookies or advertising tags in the browser.
These server-side records are used for traffic estimation, uptime and performance monitoring, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and security review.
On limited campaign landing pages, browser-side Meta Pixel events may also be sent for pageview and campaign-performance measurement.
Browser-side storage
Because the public website is not intended to use non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, it does not currently need an analytics consent banner for that purpose.
If the website later uses cookies or local storage for sign-in, security, or user preferences, those technologies should be limited to the relevant operational purpose and documented here.

Retention and related logs
Server and security logs may be retained for up to 12 months, and encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 35 days before rotation completes. Contact and support records may be retained longer where needed for support, legal compliance, or business administration.

This page should always match the website's actual live browser-side storage practices. If cookies, local storage, embedded third-party content, authenticated features, or other client-side technologies are added or changed in production, this page should be updated at the same time.
